Octa -Projection of imagery onto structure

It is interesting how the shapes and lines distort in accordance to the angles form.

Over the coming months there are several 'Open Studio' days for prospective students and visitors to come and see the work we are doing on this exciting, experimental, new MA course.
It will be a great chance to get a snap shot into the course and see how all our work is developing into final collection pieces, that will be showing at Vauxhall Fashion Scout in September

Octa - flat / fold / form

Adaptable, wearable structure inspired by the method of folding and joining to create a 3D form, used to create mathematical models and forms, particularly the Octahemioctahedron.

Modugram photoshoot

 'Modugram' was inspired by an ancient chinese puzzle 'Tangram' made of rectangular shapes, that together form a square shape, but when put together in different ways can create endless forms, shapes or garment silhouettes.
I also explored the technique of flatpack, to create modular garments and body pieces, built with shaped pieces that slot together in multiple ways to create different silhouettes and forms. This whole process is something that I am fascinated by and want to explore further.


I also translated the same form, taken from this into a chair design.
